M: ok. Let me show you. Go wash your hands first. Son: ok.

M: we need two eggs.

Son: how can I help you, Mom?

M: you beat the eggs lightly. Then you add 1/4 t. salt , and a pinch of pepper. Son: I am done.

M: now let me heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the wok. You may stir-fry the egg in the oil until set and remove from wok. Son: Now what?

M: let me clean the wok and heat another tablespoon of oil. Son: let me stir-fry the tomato chunks.

M: add 1/8 t. salt, 1 c. water, 2 t. ketchup, 1 t. cornstarch please. Son: now what?

M: add the eggs and stir-fry quickly .Sprinkle with chopped spring onions. S: mom, yum yum!

M: You did a good job. Now let’s enjoy!
