Nowadays, environment problems are becoming more and more serious. Because of letting out of large amount of carbon dioxide, the earth is getting warmer and warmer. Glacier is melting and the sea lever is rising, the island people can live on is getting smaller and smaller, someday in the future they will totally disappear.
Because of letting out of chemical gas and industrial dust, the air is
becoming dirtier and dirtier, in some industrial cities you can even harder see the blue sky and white cloud, all you can feel is the gray and Smelly air.
The world becomes more and more colourful because of human’s action, while the world is becoming dirtier anddirtier also because of human’s action.
If more and more people notice this big problem and do something, the world would be better.
If people reduce the using of traditional energy and support the
development of clean energy like the sun power and wind power, the world would be better.
If all people have the consciousness of protecting the environment, the whole world would be better.
There is a saying: ways always more than problems, as long as people want to do it, not problem will stop us.
I want to learn English because
English is a very important tool in my daily work. I have worked for 3 companies and they are all come from Europe. A lot of my colleagues are foreigners, if I have a good English ability, I can communicate with them without barrier, then I can work well. In China, working for European corporations is usually taken as a good job because they can have a nice salary and social insurance. But to get an interview, the first requirement is great English ability. So English is very important for my career.
I want to learn English also because I like American dramas and movies. There are a lot of interesting dramas which are produced in America, watching them is a great fun. I have watched The one child policy As everyone knows, China has a big land area and also has a large population. That’s why the government needs to enact the one child policy to control the population. At the year of 1949, when the People's Republic of China was established, we have 541,670,000 people in China. There was no policy for family planning, and even more, bearing children is encouraged. At the end of 1960, the number came to 662,070,000, and the rate was 22.2% for per 10 years. By then some wise men had seen the future problems about the population. It was rising too fast! My father and mother were born at 1960s. My father has 3 brothers and sisters, while my mother has 4. And that is very common to the family in my village. Some families even had seven to eight kids at that time. The government also see the critical problems, but the one child policy was not national policy until 1980s. And by that time, the population rise to 987,050,000. The policy is simple: except for the minority, each family only allowed to have one child. But there were still some families violated the rule and have more than one child. I think that is a thing related to Chinese tradition. In rural areas, having more child means stronger and can do farm work easier. The punishment from government for those families was also very strict, mainly on finance. Especially in the country side, for the families who had no money or unwilling to give money for the second child, the government would take away their properties by force, even their dogs, lambs and pigs…I myself had experienced this before. Though I do not agree the way our government act, but I do think the one child policy is a right thing. At the year of 2013, there are totally 1.4 billion people in china. That is an amazing number, I cannot image what china would be like if we do not have the one child policy! Would America have been better to have shut down and then re-open in ‘safe-mode’ with free health care and no guns? I looked into the internet and got some information about American health care reform which I want to share. 300 million people in America and there are one out of eight people who don’t have enough money to pay for medical bill. The medical care is very expensive in America yet it has a low efficiency. In the year of 2007, America paied 2700 billion dollars on health care, occupied 16.2% of that year’s GDP. If this keeps going, it will be 34% of the GDP by the year of 2040. That is out of the bearing capacity for government, corporations and individual. According to a research by Harvard in 2009, among the bankrupt families in 2007, 62.1% were caused by “overhigh medical expense”, instead of “decreasing of house price” or “investment bankrupt”. Obama’s medical reform act is good for the most of American. They can have health insurance, don’t need to worry about their illness. However, for the American people who have high income, this is really not a good news. Higher income means more tax. In another word, Obama is robbing rich people’s money for poor people. Different people will have different opinions on Obama’s medical reform act. For my point of view, I think it is good to help poor people out of sickness, from moral aspect. What’s more, this can help keep the rich-and-poor balance. It is beneficial for society stability. Good things don’t go smoothly usually. As I mentioned before, Obama is robbing the rich people’s money to help the poor, the rich won’t happy for this. No wonder there is a fight between the two parties of congress. What I love about the seasons in China and England England locates between northern latitude 50 and 60. It has a warm maritime climate due to warm current from Gulf of Mexico. Cities like London rarely has ice in river during winter, and has the lovely temperature no higher than 17 degree during summer. England does have a lot of fog some of which can be very heavy. England has stable climate but a changeful weather just in one day. Maybe in this moment the sun shines lovely but rains heavily next minute. No wonder even the most silent Englishman likes talking about weather. In China, the climate could be very different in area. The south is warmer than the north. The middle area has four distinctive seasons. Spring is a beautiful season with gentle temperature and appropriate rainfall. Most trees begin grow out leaves and grass come out of the earth. The moment is beautiful when you walk on small road with these trees and flying kites on that grass. What I prefer in spring is fishing in the river. However I cannot do it any longer because of work. I really miss the past moment. Summer could be very hot in south China and many people die due to the high temperature. I prefer staying inside with air conditioner or swimming pool and I think many people have the same opinion. Autumn is also very good because of clear sky and soft cold weather. During this season the water in river could be very clean and quite, which is also good for fishing. Of course autumn is a harvest season. The mature fruit and crops in the field makes this time very beautiful. Winter is quite cold in north China. Some people go there for skiing and skating. And there is a lot of icelanternshow in haerbin. What I would like to write on my epitaph is… Well, it is too early to talk about my funeral since I am only 26 right now, and I don’t expect to see god too soon as there are much beautiful things I have not experienced yet. I am an ordinary man,I never expect to be a famous litterateur like Shakespeare or a powerful man like Obama. All I want are a successful career and a happy family. I do think many people are agree with me on this. Life is short, people should cherish it and do what they want the most when they can. I have spent 16 years in school till I was 23 years old, and I think most of my left years will be occupied by work since I have to earn money to make a good living. I don’t want the job to be a boring part in my life, I choose a job I like and I want to be successful on it. Yet I am not married, I want a happy family in my life. I want to have a kind and considerate wife to accompany me to travel around the world, to experience sweet and bitter of life. I want a child who I will cherish, as much as my wife.
