Food security, which focusing on effect of food quality on health, has drawn more and more attentions.

The reasons why this issue is concerned vary, including irresponsible manufactures, unreasonable standards and uncertainty of genetically modified technology. Initially, some manufactures should take the blame of the food security problem. As a result of their mentality that acquires the profits, some harmful food is launched on the market. Therefore, food security is threatened by these irresponsible manufactures. What is more, there are some drawbacks in the food inspection standards. Before coming into the market, some food is not tested strictly, which may cause the problems in food security. Thus, the imperfect food inspection system is one of the reasons which lead to the food security problems. In addition, food security problem is also due to the uncertainty of new food technology, such as genetically modified. The consequences to extend this kind of technology has not been confirmed, so what this technology will bring is another factor considered by the consumers. In brief, food security problems are caused by various reasons, from commercial, systematic and technologic aspects.

Although the reasons of food security problem are complicated, it can be solved in different ways. First of all, the supervision on the manufactures should be

strengthened to avoid the availability of the food which may harm to health. Moreover, the food inspection system should be improved, so that the food which will be put into

the market could be tested rigorously. Besides, more efforts should be made to verify the effects of the food made in new technologies, in order to eliminate the worry of consumers. In short, to mitigate the problems in food security, contribution from different aspects are neccessary.
