摘要：1. Method of manufacturing a vehicle wheel with substantially lateral wheelcenter and profiled rim from a disk shaped metal sheet, in which a blank (2) is formed inthe shape of a disk with high edge (2b) by a first deep stamping operation, then the edge(2b) and the bottom (2a) of this dish are shaped so as to form respectively the rim andthe center of the wheel characterized in that said deep stamping operation is carried outwith reduction of this thickness (e1 ) of the edge (2b) with respect to the thickness (e2 ) ofthe initial disk by controlling the force (14) of retention of the blank to be stamped, andin that, in the second stamping operation, said blank is shaped so as to determine thefinal diameter (D) of the wheel center at the junction thereof with said edge (2b) and soas to place the whole of the material reserved for this wheel center externally of theplane of this diameter, before shaping said edge (2b) of the dish so as to confer thereonthe profile of the rim and to shape the wheel center.
