Dear Sir/ Madam,

I’m very glad to know that China International Tourism Festival will be held in our city next month. I’d like to be an English tour guide for the festival.

My name is Li Hua, a 18-year-old Senior Three student. I believe I am qualified for the job. First of all, I have a good command of English, which enable me to communicate with foreigners fluently. Secondly, I show so great interest in travelling that I have worked as an English tour guide at several great festivals in our city. Most importantly, not only am I familiar with our local tourist spots but also good at communicating and cooperating with others.

I promise I will spare no efforts to offer my best service to the travelers from all over the world. I would be very happy if I could be chosen as a tour guide.
