Step1. 大声读出下列句子,体会划线部分在句中所起作用:

1 We elected(选举) Liu Lei monitor(班长).

2. The news made him unhappy. 3. Please keep the classroom clean.

4. I feel it very pleasant(高兴的) to be with your family.

5. She asked me to call him again.

6. You shouldn't let him go there alone(独自).

7. I had the bike repaired.

8. Just now(刚才),I saw a boy coming into the room.

归纳:英语中,有些及物动词除能跟宾语外,有时还须加一个补足语,句意才能完整。

句中划线部分在句中做______, 作用是说明宾语的_____或_____,该成分主要是名词、_____、_____、_____、_____、_____等。

Step2. 下面,我们来讨论一下,后跟不同词性作宾补的谓语动词的分类:

1.后跟名词作宾补的动词有call, name, make, choose, think,elect, appoint(任命)等。例如:

We call him Tom for short(简称).

2.后跟形容词做宾补的动词有keep, make, find, get, think等。例如: It’s very hot here.We’d better keep the windows open.

3.动词不定式做宾补有以下三种情况:

(1)后跟带to的不定式作宾补的动词常有ask, tell, teach, wish, trouble等。例如:

He told us to keep quiet in the hospital.

(2)后跟不带to的不定式作宾补的动词可归纳为:

感官动词: “五看(look, see, watch,notice, observe)”、 “二听(hear, listen to)”、“一感觉(feel), 使役动词:let, have加make,例如:

Let me try again.

I often hear her sing in the next room.

我经常听到她在隔壁唱歌。

感官动词后既可接不带to的不定式作宾补,也可用v-ing形式作宾补。前者表示动作已结束,后者表示动作正在发生。试比较:

1. He saw a girl get on the bus.

他看见一个女孩上车了(上车的动作已经结束)。 2. He saw a girl getting on the bus. 他看见一个女孩在上车(上车的动作正在进行)。

(3)help后跟不定式作宾补时不定式既可带to,也可不带to。例如: My father often helps me (to) study English. 我父亲经常帮我学习英语。

4. 后跟v-ing形式作宾补的动词有feel, hear, see, watch, keep, find等。例如:

We found a man lying on the ground. 我们发现一个男人躺在地上。

5.后跟介词短语作宾补的动词有keep, find, take等。 9. You must get your hair cut.

注意:在这个结构中,用it 做形式宾语,而将真正的宾语放到宾语补足语的后面是

英语常用句型。(即, 主语 + 谓语 + it + 宾补 + 真正宾语。) 在此结构中,宾语常常是动词不定式或宾语从句。 如, 1. He felt it his duty to mention(提到)this to her.

分析:it是形式宾语,his duty是宾语补足语,to mention this to her是真正

的宾语。

2. I think it best that you should stay with us.

分析:it是形式宾语,best是宾语补足语,that you should stay with us是真

正的宾语。

Step3. 练一连:

一. 写出下列句子的谓语动词、宾语补足语, His parents named him John.

他的父母叫他John 。 谓语;named; 宾补:John,名词。
