《Numbers 11-15.》教学设计

内容简析

本课是人教版PEP小学英语三年级起点三年级下册第三单元中的Part A Let's learn部分,主要教学内容是数字11至15 的听说认读,没有目标语言。鉴于本课的教学内容和教学目标比较单一,在教学设计中笔者力图通过滚动、复现学生已有知识,进行教材整合,帮助学生将新旧知识结合起来进行综合运用。同时拓宽教学目标,为以后的学习内容做精心的铺垫,努力打造递进式课堂教学,促使学生的语言运用能力在滚动中螺旋式上升。

目标定位

1、知识目标:

词汇:能够认读eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen

能强化认读已学词汇:数字

类、动物类、玩具类。

1-10,文具类、人物

语句:能强化认读How many …? How old…? The … has …

为下节课要学习的语句How many … can you see? I can see…做好铺垫

2、技能目标:

词汇:能够口头运用eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen

强化运用已学词汇:数字1-10, 文具类、人物类、

动物类、玩具类。

语句:能够运用How many …? How old…? 进行询问并用数字1-15进行回答。

强化运用已学语句: How many…? How old…?

3、情感目标:通过参与形式多样的教学活动,学生积极的学习态度得以进一步提高。

4、学习策略:进一步形成基于已学内容学习新知识的学习策略。

方法阐释

心理学家布鲁纳说过:\"学习的最好刺激,就是对学习材料的兴趣。\" 教材的编写不可能照顾到各个层面学生的需求,只能针对学生的年龄特征,尽可能地体现出他们的共性,这就难免会造成一定的差异。鉴于学生刚刚学习英语一个学期,语言不丰富,我在设计本课时,尽量通过多种活动滚动学生已学语言,为今后的语言学习做好铺垫。因此教学设计改变了教材内容的呈现方式,改为以生日为情景的呈现方式。整节课结合生日大场景设计活动,层层递进,使教学的内容更加贴近本班学生的生活实际和他们已有的生活经验,这样既调动了学生的学习积极性,又使学生乐于接受新知,主动学习。在本课的设计中,我突出了教材的整合和教学目标的拓宽。

教具准备

电脑,课件,单词卡片,教杆,红、白色粉笔,两个卡纸做的蛋糕及彩色蜡烛若干根。

教学流程

一、Warming up/Revision 热身/复习 T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello!

T: This is a new classroom for us. Look, how many doors? How

many windows? How many teachers? How many boys in this line(教师指一行学生)? How many girls in this line(教师指另一行学生?)

T: This classroom is new, and I’m your new teacher in this class. I’m Ms Song. You can call me Ms Song. Nice to meet you, boys and girls!

Ss: Nice to meet you, too. (与3-5个学生交流)

T: Hi, boy! Can I know your name? S1: My name is … T: …, nice to meet you. S1: Nice to meet you too. T: Hi, girl! Your name, please? S2: …

T: … A nice name. I like your name. (对S3)Hi, girl! How old are you?

S3: I’m … years old.

T: (问另一个学生) How old are you? S5: I'm ...

T: Children, you know some numbers, but not many. Let's learn more today. First, let’s sing a song “Ten little

candles” OK?

Ss: OK!

(播放flash “Ten Little Candles”学生跟着老师打着节奏随音乐唱歌曲。)

(After singing the song)

T: The song is about candles. In this class, you can get candles for

your cake. Look, a beautiful cake for each group. This is for Group 1, this is for Group 2. At last, let’s see which group can get more candles.(老师边说边给每一组贴上三根蜡烛。)You sing the song well! Now, three candles for each group!

【设计意图】通过与学生交流,拉近与学生的感情,通过演唱歌曲活跃课堂气氛,激发学习兴趣,复习与本课内容相关的数字,唤醒学生已有的旧知识,旧技能,为新课的学习做好

心理、知识上的准备。用交流、歌曲两种形式满足不同学习风格、学习基础的学生的学习需要。 二、Presentation 呈现新课

T:(指黑板上的蛋糕)There are 3 candles on this cake. How about that one? Look at the screen, please!(点击课件呈现一个插有11根蜡烛的蛋糕) How many candles can you see? One, two …(与学生一起数蜡烛。) Ss, T: Eleven.

T: Now, please listen and follow. (点击课件eleven读音。) (在学生首次接触单词的读音时尽量让学生模仿地道的读音,而不是教师领读。) Ss: Eleven.

T: (Bb writing the word and have Ss read in many ways. Compare with the word “seven”.)Look, (Show the card of seven)

Ss: Seven.

T: (遮住se只露出ven) Ss: ven

T: (Point to the Bb “ven”)

Ss: ven eleven (then spell and read the words.) T: Check Ss to read.

T: Eleven candles on the cake? Why? Mother Dog is eleven years old today! So, eleven candles for her birthday.

T: (Point to the screen.) Boys and girls, Mother Dog has a question for you. Can you make “eleven”? Look, one and ten iiiiiis eleven. Nine and BoooM two is eleven. Can you make eleven?

Ss: Yes.

S1: Three and eight is eleven. (T gives 2 candles for S1’s group.) S2: Four and seven is eleven. (T gives 1 candle for S2’s group.) S3: Five and six is eleven. (T gives 1candle for S3’s group.) …

T: Clever boy. (学生说的过程中教师要注意以蜡烛做评价,两组轮流说,并把评价结果贴在小组的蛋糕上,然后让学生自由说给同桌听。)

【设计意图】通过让学生数蛋糕上的小蜡烛,再次复习数字1-10,并自然过渡到词汇eleven, 实现了新旧知识的平稳过渡,

又通过说数学算式练习数字,不仅多次运用了新词汇eleven, 还又一次让学生在新的情境中综合运用、认读旧词汇1-10,建立了新旧知识之间的联系,协助学生建构新知识。另外,教师采用积极恰当的对学生的参与情况做出评价,以便激发学生的学习兴趣,参与热情。)

T: (承接上一环节,最后呈现Eleven and one is _______.) Children, What is eleven and one?

Ss:(个别学生)Twelve. (T给2 candles,Bb writing the word.处理方式同上。先听课件的发音,再模仿,老师强调/twel/ /v/ 集体读,个别检查。)

T: Childen, today is Mother Dog’s birthday. Some animals go to her house to celebrate her birthday. Look, how many cats? (屏幕上只有一个)

Ss: One.

T: Really? Look carefully!(点击课件一只只小猫进入狗妈妈的房子。)

How many cats?

Ss: One, two, three, ...Twelve.

T: Right. How many ducks? (点击课件一只只鸭子进入狗妈妈的房子。)

Ss: One, two, three, ...Twelve.

T: How many rabbits? (点击课件一只只兔子进入狗妈妈的房子。)

Ss: One, two, three, ...Twelve.

T: Ask and answer in pairs freely.(学生同桌自由问答。增加生生问答内容。)

T: Boy, stand up, please! Ask anyone you like. How many …? S4: …, how many rabbits?

S5: Twelve.(对S6) …, how many cats? S6: Twelve. …

【设计意图】】单纯数字的学习对孩子们来说是非常乏味和枯燥的,但是一旦赋予这些数字不同的意义,孩子们学习起来就有了动力和热情。该活动通过让孩子们数一数来参加生日party动物的数量,既练习了twelve 的认读,又强化了How many …的

语句及相关动物类词汇,做到了前后知识的融会与贯通。学生也很感兴趣。同时给起来问答的学生贴蜡烛,注意评价的连贯性。)

T: So many animals come to Mother Dog’s house? (Point to the screen.) Twelve ducks, twelve cats come to celebrate Mother Dog's birthday? And they bring some books for her. (课件呈现一摞书。) How many books?(课件点击呈现13本书。)

Ss: Let's count.

Ss: One, two, ... thirteen. Thirteen books. T: Right.

Bb writing the word. teen 用红色。

(呈现单词,让学生观察单词,自己试读。引导学生从thirteen读出teen /ti:n/, 集体读,个别检查。

T: Thirteen books for Mother Dog. Does westerner like number 13?

(让学生回答) S7: Yes.

T: Other opinion?

S8: No.

T: Why? You can say in Chinese. (让知道的同学用汉语说。)

T: You know more, a candle for you. Westerner doesn’t like number 13. Read the culture tip in your heart. (点击课件呈现文化背景知识让学生默读。)Hello, children! Hi!

【设计意图】语言学习不仅仅是知识的学习,还要注意相关的文化的渗透。

T: I also have a book for Mother Dog. (点击课件增加一本书,指屏幕上所有的书) How many books now?

Ss: (师、生同数) One , two, ... fourteen. Oh, it's easy. Four--teen, fourteen. (把单词卡片从中间折起来,让学生认读four 然后根据板书上thirteen, 认读teen。这个单词相对比较简单,所有可以略处理。)

Ss: fourteen

T: Animals come to Mother Dog’s house. So does Amy. And she has some balloons for her birthday party, how many balloons? Guess, please!

S20: 11 balloons S21: 14 balloons S22: 6 balloons ...

T: (点开课件) Let's count. How many balloons? Fifteen. Bb writing the word. --teen 用红笔写。Who can read it?

S 28: Fif--teen, fifteen. Ss: Fifteen.

(通过猜谜,复习巩固刚刚学过的11--14,引出15,并学习。) T: Here are some toys, estimate the prices. What is 15 yuan? S23: The kite is 15 yuan. S24: The … is 15 yuan. …

T: Let’s see, who is right?(点击课件呈现答案。)Who is right? Good job.

Let’s say together.

Ss: The … is 15 yuan. The … is 15 yuan. … 三、课文呈现

1. T: Numbers are useful. We use them everywhere. Now they are in a cartoon. Let’s watch the cartoon and answer the question: How many numbers are there in the cartoon? (Watch the cartoon together with the children 2 times.)

T: (After watching.) How many numbers? Ss: 15.

T: What are they? Ss: One, two, … fifteen.

T: You wactched very carefully.

T: Now boys and girls please open your books, turn to page 25. 【设计意图】通过活泼可爱的动画数字小人,激发学生对数字的热爱,调整学生的学习情绪。通过让学生翻开课本听指、跟读,充分利用课本这一简洁有效的教学资源,再次强化词汇的认读,语音。

T: Now repeat again.

T: Now children, work in pairs, one point, the other say the numbers.

【设计意图】

一个学生随意说单词,另一个学生边说边指,看谁指的又快又准。既让学生练习了单词的认读,又培养了学生的反应能力。而且同桌两个比赛能让学生集中精力,有利于激发学生的学习热情,快速高效的投入到语言的练习中来。

四.巩固练习 Listen and match.

过渡语: Today is Mother Dog's birthday, they all have some gifts for her. Listen and match: What do they have?

五拓展

T: Boys and girls, So many friends come to celebrate Mother Dog's birthday. Listen, they are singing \"Happy Birthday \" to Mother Dog. Let's join them. OK?

Ss: Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!)

T: Let's go and enjoy the party. Wow, how busy the party is! Look, birds, pandas, flowers, how many birds? (课件呈现生日party 的场景,有礼物,也有动物,数量不等。)

Ss: One, two... twelve. T: How many ...?

Ss: One, two, ... eleven.

T: OK, boys and girls. Now work in pairs. (学生同桌自由问答。)

T: Which pair would like to show us? S30: How many birds? S31: Eleven. ...

T: The party is busy. I can see a cake, 11 birds...What can you see at the party? Now say to your partner please. Say as more as you can.

(课件提示语言:I can see ...) Ss: Say to their partners.

T: Who would like to introduce Mother Dog's birthday party? S30: I can see... I can see ... I can see... S31: ... s32: ...

(愿意说的同学获得2根蜡烛。) 【设计意图】

设计该拓展活动,目的在于培养学生运用语言的能力,让学生在真实的语境中习得语言,并为第二课时的学习做好铺垫。第二课时的语言:How many ... can you see? I can see ...

六、总结

T: Boys and girls, you did a very good job in this class. Let's see what we’ve learned in this class. (指11—15数字) Can you read?

Ss: Read together.

T: You can say these numbers very well, what about these four?Have a try, OK?

Ss: OK! Sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen.

T: You’re so smart! Can you tell us your method. You can say in Chinese.

S33: (可以用汉语) ...... (给介绍好的同学贴蜡烛。)

T: You’re so good at learning. I should learn from you.

Children, let’s count how many candles you have got. (数两组蛋糕上的蜡烛,并向获胜小组表示祝贺。)

【设计意图】

使课堂有头有尾,必要的总结可以帮助学生梳理课堂所学的重点。

六、作业 Homework

T: Now boys and girls, time is up, please remember your homework.

First, listen and repeat P25 3 times. Second, try to find the things you can count in our life. Next class, share with your partner. (作业在屏幕上用汉语打出,教师用英语说。)

【设计意图】培养学生的观察和运用语言的能力, 实现课内外学习的结合,学习与生活的结合。
